The Homestead Oktoberfest returns Saturday, October 24!
Join neighbors and friends for one of The Homestead’s favorite annual traditions. Our celebration blends the spirit of a traditional Oktoberfest with a classic Texas fall festival, featuring great food, cold drinks, music, children’s activities, and plenty of time to catch up with longtime friends and welcome new neighbors.
Residents of The Homestead and Meadowfox—and their guests—are invited. Bring the entire family!
What to Expect
- Delicious assorted BBQ and German favorites
- Kegs of beer, a wine table featuring local wines, and the community cooler
- Bottled water and nonalcoholic beverages
- Traditional Oktoberfest music followed by a variety of genres
- Face painting, cornhole, and activities for children
- Bavarian decorations, plenty of lights, and other surprises
We hope to welcome AudioRoad back for a live performance, but the band’s availability has not yet been confirmed. We’ll post an update as soon as we know more.
Festive attire is always welcome, so feel free to break out the lederhosen and dirndls!

The Oktoberfest celebration is our biggest annual event and spend, by far. It is also our main annual event fundraiser. Funds collected at the Oktoberfest directly support neighborhood events like the Oktoberfest and Chili Cook Off. Even if you don't plan to attend the Oktoberfest celebration, we ask that you donate to support our neighborhood events now, as part of this major fundraising campaign.
